The book contains the story of a quest for oneself - a search for a mirror. The tale of Lona (a short name for Lonappan), who wanted to become a fiction writer, and his romanticism with fiction and experiments with people provide him with the true reflection he searched for. Through the 23 years of his quest, Lona discovers many people, many mirrors, whom he names God's particles. The introspections, humour, romance, and philosophies influenced Lona to arrive at new convictions and conclusions.
At one point, Lona expanded the meaning of the word narcissism from its historical definition to a new dimension. Lona elevated the word narcissism to a level where it is compared to an expression of soul search in another person. Discovering the mirror is one dimension of life; polishing the mirror would be another aspect of life, and becoming the mirror would be yet another plane that transcends the romance beyond the boundaries of visual life.
